Hope this helps anyone doing a Google search for "Lightscribe for mac images for simple label" since the simple label maker via the Lightscribe download allows for words to be put on a disc, you cannot do images. Droppix Label Maker is a program that allows to create and edit labels for CD/DVD/Blu Ray discs. On Mac or Linux, double click on the downloaded file to extract the label designs into the current. This will install the templates into the Template Labeler application. On Windows, double click on the downloaded file to run it. This pack offers a collection of 60 Free background images that you can use to personalize your Lightscribe CD and DVD labels. These free design packs are designed to work perfectly with our LightScribe Template Labeler.
Believe it or not, some people still want CDs. Droppix Lightscribe Pack 1 1.0 is a pack of background images for Droppix Label Maker.
Thus using Lightscribe is easier now on my MAC. Maybe it is me but I had yet to see this mentioned anywhere. It is noticeably slower than the PC but you can still get what you want. You must export the template you make but you can send it right to Lightscribe and it will make your disc from there. If you open Roxio Toast and go to Disc Cover RE, you can actually make your own disc using your own graphics and text. I found that you can download the Lightscribe software easily but it only runs the simple version meaning no custom labels using one's one pictures and such. Very nice to make Lightscribe discs but I have a new Mac Pro and wanted to shift all to it. Recently got rid of an old Dell that had two Lightscribe drives in it.
